Karrissa Siegel, OD is a doctoral graduate of The University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Siegel joined The Pepose Vision Institute in 2023, recruited personally by Dr. Pepose due to her experience and professional caring approach with her patients.
Dr. Karrissa Siegel is a comprehensive optometrist specializing in ocular surface and diabetic eye diseases, as well as dry eye, glaucoma management, and specialty contact lenses. She manages surgical patients (cataract and refractive) both pre- and post-operatively and has extensive experience in emergent ocular care.
Dr. Siegel is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society; the American Optometric Association and the St. Louis Optometric Society. She has worked alongside several ophthalmologists and optometrists in her career thus far, including those in the St. Louis University hospital’s ocular emergency department.
Karrissa Siegel is actively involved in community service work and has volunteered her time for a number of missionary trips in order to help the less fortunate. She commits to upholding the highest quality of patient care while maintaining that patients’ needs are multifaceted and believes that every single patient should be treated like family.
