No. Although the causes of progressive myopia are many and not completely understood, using glasses to correct myopia is not a cause. To the contrary, it is necessary for normal distance vision. If you have trouble seeing things in the distance clearly, you might need glasses. Or be a candidate for LASIK or other eye treatments.
