Dr. Holekamp Had a Busy September

At Pepose Vision, we do even more than provide great vision services for our patients.  Our doctors keep busy as leaders in the ophthalmology field, often traveling nationally and internationally to speak on a variety of topics and also present findings from our own research.

Here’s how Dr. Holekamp kept busy in September:

September 11-13:   Dr. Holekamp was the guest lecturer at the Atlantic Eye Meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she spoke about her research on the vitreous gel and on genetic testing for AMD.

September 14:  Dr. Holekamp presented scientific research at the Retina Society in Philadelphia on the real world utilization of anti-VEGF therapy for Retinal Vascular Occlusive Disease.

September 20-27: Dr. Holekamp was on a 5 city speaking tour of Australia where she spoke about Age-Related Macular Degeneration and the role of the vitreous gel in ocular health and disease.
